I'm going to have to watch your video later on. I had a friend give me a printer that he said didn't scan. What he failed to mention is that he didn't put the screws back in after he took it apart to see if he could fix it. And then proceeded to lose every screw because he didn't put them in a box or back in.

This gear seems to be the release-from-park mechanism. Can I just break off a tab or something. $300 for the two year old PRO 9015e printer that is now junk because of the parking brake. YES, I hate HP. The local shop will repair it for $119.00 but, what else will break.

Do you always have to reset the counter ?

Do you have Epson Photointerrupter for a WF-7210 ? I think that is my problem. The lever looks to work fine. The printer will take the paper. when I go to print the paper then spits out completely and gives me a jammed paper error.

Love the Video! I recently just bought y’all guys dampers and just installed it into my 8550 EcoTank, i saw somewhere someone said do a powerclean to get ink back into the dampers but it didn’t work, will it work if I leave the printhead over the capping station and use a syringe attach to the waste hole and suck it out from the waste tank that’s connected to the printhead that’s connected to the main ink tanks? Will that work? Hoping I made sense 😅

I have an et-2803 and it doesn't come apart in the same way. Do you know how I would get it apart to continue the rest of the video?

Espon printers are designed to fail and break after x number of prints so you have to buy a new printer. The software/op system will keep you from using the printer unless you spend some $30 to $40 for a new waste tank...unless you have the skill to remove and clean the tank...you still need to reset the digital counter which costs money from epson too. All a scam! Its the same idea as buying a Ford or any American made car... the payments last for the car then you have to rinse and repeat. Taking the machine apart is not really a good option. Its easier to buy a new machine which is what Epson wants but you can give them a finger and buy a different brand. Unfortunately, I don't know of any other brand that uses the tanks like the epson.

Kevin! I did all these steps to clean my capping station and assembled everything back together following your steps. I also removed the printhead and did a reverse ink flush to clean my nozzles. I put everything back together and now when it’s doing a head cleaning there’s no ink showing in the capping station. Do I have to wait for ink to build up in the head or does it sound like I forgot something putting back the capping station?

Or is it like it is (was) widely discussed, that HP made those printers stop working once you had inserted non-HP-ink (by firmware-updates) - basically a criminal act and there were several trials dealing with this "policy", obviously with not too many results - will never buy something from HP again ...

Have you tried to check the hole where the pickup roller shaft connects with the clutch. Sometimes that hole gets bigger as it wears out and there is a big play which causes this problem of picking papers.

What size is the small tube, mine had a cut and I need to replace that only. Also what’s the name I would search to find that tube. Thank you!

Hello Kevin! I have an Hp 9015e and its giving me the same problem except that its showing paper jam under the separation pad of the ADF where the original paper comes out. I dont seem to find any paper jammed, do you have directions on how to solve "paper jam" in this area? I dont want to disassemble without actually knowing what I am looking for. the printer new i took print head something has to do with the ribbon brand new printer to head out to put in my printer 031006 i put it back in the new printer now that printer is reading 031006. how is this posible when its NEW

How do I get the printer to reset the ink level of the refilled cartridge? It still says it's got 1 square left.
